When operating the whole house filter, it's essential to understand how to turn it off and on, especially before a long trip.
The main shut-off valve is located in the basement utility room, behind the waterheater and filter tanks, where the main water supply enters the townhome. Turn the valve clockwise to shut off the water supply to the entire house. Once the filter is off, the water flow is halted, and the filter is no longer processing water. Locate the main shut-off valve and turn it counterclockwise to turn the filter back on. By following these steps, you can effectively manage the operation of the whole house filter and ensure its proper functioning before and after any long trip.
Operating the iSpring Whole House Water Filter System: When the lever is parallel to the copper pipe, it is in the On Position, and water passes through. When the level is perpendicular to the copper pipe, it is in the Off Position, and water doesn't flow through.
